We just got back from two weeks at Smugglers Cove, unit 3A5 and had a wonderful time. The unit was squeaky clean when we arrived, all appliances, utensils and amenities were available as expected. The owner happened to be in town while we were there and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The Gulf facing screened lanai is ~ 150 ft from the water, we listened to the surf, watched pelicans plunge and dolphins play. The en suite bath has a walk-in shower with seats. There are plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The resort pool is enclosed on 3 sides by a high solid wall, not very tropical, but the water was warm and the pool got deep - but still no diving allowed. We really enjoyed the resort's tiki hut with Gulf facing counter and "bar stools" where we would watch the stars, lighthouses and passing boats after dark. The resort is about 1/4 mile and across the street from a Publix supermarket where we got all our groceries. We hope you don't read this so we can go back next year, if we are able.
